To close our season, we feature small chamber works for orchestra that celebrate birth, blossoms and renewal. It is an eclectic program that creates an overall shape of the movements of a big symphony in the moods and colours of each selection. This program will include Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll, the “Blumine” movement from Mahler’s Symphony No. 1, Katerina Gimon’s Rain on a Tin Roof, and Nino Rota’s Sonata for Chamber Orchestra.
