MATCHING CAMPAIGN

Support the OSO today. Create a stronger Okanagan for tomorrow.

Judy Burns

President, OSS Board of Directors

This season the OSO celebrated its 60th year in the Okanagan Valley. We are extremely proud of this accomplishment but know it would not have been possible without the generosity and support of so many.

In this spirit, and to continue our forward momentum, we ask you to consider supporting our Matching Campaign. Your donation will help ensure we are able to continue our work of strengthening and uniting our communities through music.

Thank you so much, we are sincerely grateful.

Geraldine Parent

Executive Director

The Okanagan Symphony Orchestra is honoured to have its home in the Okanagan Valley, steeped in history, rich in talent, and supported by so many.

We are proud of the relationships we have and the many community connections we make with – and among – children, young musicians, patrons and subscribers. Your participation in this matching campaign means these relationships can continue to foster and grow.

We thank you for supporting the OSO and believing in the power of music.

Rosemary Thomson

Music Director

From the creative imagination of a devoted group of volunteers, the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra was born. Six decades later, through the collaboration of thousands of supporters, the OSO has blossomed into a vibrant ensemble sharing live music at the highest level throughout our beautiful valley.

We are excited to honour this legacy and continue building meaningful engagement that enriches our community.

We are so grateful to all of you, and invite you to dream with us for the next 60 years.

DOUBLE YOUR GIFT …

Through the generosity of one special donor, any funds donated to the OSO between now and May 31 will be matched, up to a maximum of $60,000 $100,000! Your gift of $50 becomes $100, and so on.

With your help, the OSO will touch more lives and unite more communities through music.

… DOUBLE OUR IMPACT

Dominique  (OSO musician)

I have grown so much, conquered musical mountains, gained victories over anxiety, and been supported and loved by my fellow musicians, leaders and the community. I will be giving back to this orchestra everything that I have for as long as they let me.

Makayla  (Grade 2 school show attendee)

I loved your music and your songs it was the best I seen in my entire life and it was cool.

Gayle  (Sponsor)

I love the connections the OSO has created off the stage in the past few seasons alone… raising awareness for mental health and support services, connecting with indigenous communities, the role of women in business, education and accessibility for the arts.

Sarah  (OSYO alumni)

When I joined OSYO at the age of 15, I had never been exposed to playing orchestral music. I had no idea how many doors this experience would open for me.
