how canada came to be
Canada is turning 150 years old in 2017! The OSO is thrilled to offer every Okanagan school a fantastic way to celebrate! Our Symphony School Shows this year will present the Governor General Award winning production of “How Canada Came To Be”. This show was designed by Rhonda Draper and along with Rosemary Thomson and the entire OSO your students will be delighted to sing and move their way through our country’s fascinating history. From our First Nations to Jacques Cartier, to the Railway and more your school will walk away with new felt pride for where they live. Don’t miss this Sesquicentennial Celebration. School Guides will also be made available to all teachers so the fun, drama and song can really be enjoyed at showtime!
