WHAT TO WEAR?
If uncertainty about what to wear to a symphony concert is holding you back, we have good news! You are welcome at an OSO concert wearing whatever you are comfortable in — from ripped jeans and T-shirts to suits and ties or gowns.
We do also remind you that all OSO venues are scent-free.
WHEN TO ARRIVE?
An OSO concert starts at the designated time on your ticket. Late arrivals will be asked to wait in the lobby until a suitable break in the music before entering the auditorium. We encourage you to arrive in plenty of time so you have time to purchase a glass of local wine, chat with other patrons, and be seated prior to the start of the concert.
WHEN TO CLAP?
If you are worried you might clap at the wrong time, there’s no need. No one will judge you for clapping when the music moves you. Here’s a hint, though: watch for the conductor to put their baton down and then applaud all you want.
