Spanning centuries of music, Musical Generationz offers a journey through the sands of time—from the baroque elegance of Handel to the contemporary creations of the OSYO’s own composers: movements from Schubert’s Unfinished Symphony, Handel’s Harp Concerto and Baermann’s Clarinet Quintet with Strings, with senior students as soloists. Alongside these timeless classics, the program includes Miramichi Ballad by Canadian composer Kelsey Jones and original compositions by OSYO players Kate Chu and Nicholas Covaser, highlighting how the orchestra continues to push musical boundaries and inspire new generations today.
